Fan Powered Cars Project

Recently, the students in Mr. Pamuk’s class have been learning about Motion and Force. Students gained a lot of knowledge and experience through experiments and hands on activities so far. Very last thing that the kids built in Science was fan motor cars. Students used their own imagination and designed and built their vehicles out of K’nex pieces.

Testing Newton’s Second Law F=M*A

Students in 7th grade science class have been learning about Motion and Forces. Last week, my students were busy with learning about Newton’s Motion Laws. They gained knowledge by answering some practical questions in worksheets as well as designing and building their cars. First Grade Fun!

First Grade Fun!

First grade is learning what a sentence is and we are really practicing our punctuation skills. On Wednesday, we played “Red Light, Green Light” with punctuation. It was a great way to practice what our different punctuation marks looked like, while practicing some gross motor skills and burning some energy! J The next step is to take it from just being able to recognize our punctuation marks and using them with expression in our reading!

Homework Update

Homework Update

As we all know, our students in 4th – 7th grade carry around a lot of heavy books in their backpacks.  To help the students with their homework load and the weight of the physical load that they carry home at night, the 4th-7th grade teachers decided that our students are more than welcome to keep their books that they do not need to take home at night in their classroom.  Also, the 4th-7th grade teachers have a homework schedule for which nights they will assign homework.
