Principal's Corner

I hope that everyone had a pleasant Thanksgiving break and that you returned to school and work refreshed and well rested. There are only two more weeks of school this month before we once again have a lengthy break. Friday, December 18 will be an early release day, and then the winter holiday break begins.  Students will have a total of 17 days off before returning to school on January 5, 2016.  Staff will return a day earlier for a teacher work day on January 4.  When students return, there will only be eight days remaining in the second grading period.  It’s hard to believe, but on January 14, we will already be halfway through this school year!

One of the things we cherish most about T.M.S.A. is its diverse population. Whatever holiday you may be celebrating this time of the year, I hope that you will be able to spend some quality time with your family and friends, and that you will cherish the time you are together.

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

NEW Raptor System

Dear Parent/Guardian:

We would like to introduce you to a new system our school has acquired to help protect your

children—it’s called V-soft. V-soft helps track visitors, students, faculty, contractors and

volunteers at our school, thus providing a safer more monitored environment for the students.

When visitors, volunteers or contractors check-in, or parents come to pick up students, they will

be asked to present a valid state issued ID for entering into the system. The system has the

ability to provide alerts on people who may jeopardize the safety of the campus.
