Geo Bee 2016

On Thursday January 28th, TMSA held its annual Geobee for grades 4-8.  All 4-8th grade homerooms were represented by social studies students who had previously won their class competitions.  Participants competed for the title of "School Winner" by answering difficult geography questions about various worldwide features.

This year our School Winner was Jai Saravanan from 7th Grade Berkley. Our second-place competitor was Shaunak Peri from 8th grade Princeton.  Jai will be representing TMSA as he moves to the next round for a chance to compete for a $50,000 scholarship and a prize trip from National Geographic.  Congratulations to Jai and all of our other Geobee participants!
