Our classroom spotlight this issue is on Ms. Bishop and her math II class.
Ms. Bishop recently tasked students with making posters in their math II class. Each group was given two functions and they had to list all key features of these functions. Students had 11 criteria to cover for each!
What made the task more difficult?
Each group was only allowed to ask Ms. Bishop TWO questions while completing their posters; therefore, they really had to rely on their mathematical skills and each other! Students went above and beyond with their posters by resizing their graphs so that they were more easily analyzed and took the time to be sure they had specific features, such as rate of change and end behavior, correct.
Here are some of their posters--if you're around the school soon, check them out! Well done, young mathematicians!
