Principal's Corner

Greetings TIGERS!

First of all, I’d like to congratulate first grade students, parents, and teachers for collecting more than $600 during the Penny War to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy.  Also Ms. Kinder did a terrific job organizing this fundraiser.

We had 165 participants for our 12/13 Fall School Climate Survey for Parents. We’ve already started using the results to improve our school. I’d like to share some important results with TMSA Family. Please click the article header to see graphs for some of the questions below.

Next Wednesday, December 12,  we will have our breakfast for kindergarten. All kindergarten students and parents are invited. Breakfast will be served between 7:00am and 7:45am.

On Thursday, all 4-6 grade students will be visiting downtown museums and the capitol building.

We will have our good conduct dress down day next Friday December 14th. All students who didn’t have conduct violations in November will be eligible to dress down.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Alper Tekten,

Principal

From the Office of Mrs. Wood

From the Office of Mrs. Wood:

I would like to start off by saying THANK YOU for those that have been volunteering.  Whether it is coming in, helping on the weekends or helping from home – it is truly appreciated!  Things are coming together!  Grade Breakfasts, Parent Coffee Nights, having a Student/Teacher of the Month program are just a few things where parents have volunteered their time to TMSA!  These events would not be as successful without you.
