Choir Performance at Coffee Night

_The TMSA choir had their first performance at coffee night on January 24th. They worked hard to prepare five songs. They sang songs that were a combination of classics and well known popular songs. They also sang an original  heart-felt song called “We Might Heal” to honor the victims and their families of the Connecticut tragedy and super storm Sandy.

From the Office of Mrs. Wood

There has been a lot of traffic in the front office, with students using the phone. They say they do not know if they are riding the bus, staying late, etc.  Students should know their afternoon routine for each day.  Please inform your child every morning, to avoid these phone calls during the day.

This weekend our Science Olympiad team competed in their regional. The team came back with three medals. I would like to congratulate the team with students, parents, and coaches as well as our head coach Mr. Pamuk. More details will be coming to you with our press release.

This Tuesday we will have our first semester award ceremony. K-3 will start at 9am and 4-6 at 10am. Please join us as we will be recognizing our students’ outstanding performances during first semester.

Also Friday morning TMSA will be hosting Principal’s Breakfast for the students who had a 4.0 GPA during the second quarter. Parents of these students were sent the invitations. We had more than 90 students eligible for the breakfast. Way to go Tigers!

Next Monday we will have a parent teacher conference day. If you are interested in a conference with your child’s teacher, please contact the teacher to schedule one.

Finally, CISCO technology day has been postponed due to a conflict at the company. The new date will be announced as soon as possible.
